ANSELMIANS LOVE TRADITIONS
130 YEARS OF HISTORY AND TIME-HONORED TRADITIONS
Our favorite tradition? Class banners.
Each class has their own that hangs from the rafters of our dining hall. After four years on campus, it's lowered during commencement weekend, but always welcomes alumni back "home" during reunion.
TRADITIONS
In between the raising and lowering of your class banner, you'll want to take part in as many of these traditions as possible.
Design a masterpiece
during the Gingerbread House Competition, which typically yields edible versions of Hogwarts, Who-ville, and our very own Alumni Hall.
Spread holiday cheer
by dining with friends during the Christmas Feast.
Walk for a cure
by participating in Relay for Life, where we raise over $100,000 annually for cancer research.
Honor the bard
during a day of sonnet reading and cake eating for Shakespeare's Birthday.
Party (like an Anselmian)
at Party Your Classes Off (PYCO), planned by our Campus Activities Board, featuring free food, free swag, carnival games, and giant inflatables on the quad.
Go out with a bang
when each academic year ends with a firewords display that you can watch with your friends right on campus.
Watch the sunrise
on the morning of your commencement ceremony, surrounded by your best friends.
CAMPUS FOOD
Hospitality is at the core of our Benedictine heritage at Saint Anselm College.
We can all agree that Saint Anselm College is special.
With over 130 years of history, time-honored traditions are a part of everyday life here on the Hilltop.
